THEORY OF TRANITIVITY

There is a very strong possibility that the speed of light, accepted as an absolute barrier, may be exceeded by neutrinos recently observed at the CERN with OPERA detector.  This discovery, if verified, would cast significant doubt on much of physics as we understand and accept it today.  While this would appear to refute Einstein’s concepts regarding the relationship between mass and energy and concepts regarding space and time, those concepts have been proved repeatedly in the past century.

History has shown many times over that thinkers who are too advanced for their current society are often persecuted for their new thoughts and new ideas.  Einstein was not only a genius, but he also would most likely understand the limit to which society would accept his theories.  He stopped at claiming time to be relative.  His caution, if that was indeed the case, has resulted in the dimensional error in the famous equation, E = mc2.  If E and m are to be considered “equivalent”, then there is a problem with c2, which is NOT dimensionless.  The factor c2 has the dimensions of l2/t2.  Any equation in physics must have dimensional agreement

Scientists insist energy/mass other than in the “quantum world” can neither be created nor destroyed.  Yet, the entire Universe was created (i.e., the Big Bang)!  To explain the observed expansion of the Universe combined with the observed background microwave radiation using their method, scientists take the loophole of the “quantum world” and apply it to the entire Universe.

Based on their existing theory, scientists think they can see all that exists within the observable range.  When they observed farther, they began to realize that they could only see just 70% of what is within the observable range.  Considering galactic rotation, they find out that they can only see a mere 4%.  The farther out they observe, the less is what could be seen within the observable range.  There will be no end to this trend.  The fact is that, as technology continues to improve so that they can see farther and farther away, scientists will realize (and are realizing right now) that their observations do not fit their theory unless they invent unseen things (dark energy and dark matter) as needed.

The cosmological constant in the equations of Relativity is dismissed by its own creator, Einstein, as his biggest blunder.  Today’s scientists using the conventional way of modern physics must cling to this fudge factor to explain the current astronomical observations.

3-dimensional space is not flat; a flat 3-dimensional space cannot be stable.  While studying astronomical observations, particularly distant observations, we cannot approximate space as flat (as we do locally).  Instead, we must acknowledge and incorporate the curvature of 3-dimensional space.  A discrepancy in observations of a small fraction of a percent of the so-called distant objects can grow into a huge discrepancy in observations of extremely distant objects.

These are some issues existing in the world of sciences.  A revolutionary approach is required to deal with these issues.  The conventional way (today’s modern physics) will only lead to more confusion and puzzles.  The new approach is none other than continuing the journey Einstein has taken.  He has paved a way and we must continue where he left off.  Where Einstein has stopped at Relativity, we must continue on to Tranitivity

  • Einstein was right.  The equation, E = mc2, produces correct numerical results.  However, Tranitivity corrects the dimensional disagreement.
  • In Tranitivity, there is no requirement that the speed of light be the maximum speed limit.
  • Cosmology in general and astronomical data in particular can be dealt with more clearly and more simply with the new way – Theory of TranitivityNo bubbles are required. No big bangs are needed.
  • With Tranitivity, background radiation, the dark energy, can be uncovered by simple calculations.  And in the process, microwave radiation will reveal itself complete with its spectrum and anisotropy.
  • Tranitivity requires that the Universe be expanding with faster and faster speed.  Fudge factors are no longer required.
Furthermore, …
  • Dark energy is everywhere … It is background radiation and is never detectable.  Background radiation, potentially infinite in amount, is driving the Universe to expand forever at a faster and faster rate.  Its detectable boundary is microwave radiation, which is thus the detectable fringe of dark energy.  The observed fringe will expand as our observational power (i.e., technology) grows and advances.
  • Background radiation is possible only because 3-dimensional space is curved.  In other words, the background microwave radiation, the observable fringe, is the observational proof of the curvature of 3-dimensional space.
  • The source of background radiation is none other than those trillions of galaxies beyond the observable Universe.  They are driving galaxies within the observable Universe to fly apart.  Those trillions of galaxies, in turn, are driven apart by another group of trillions of galaxies beyond them, and the system continues … just like a grand, cosmic ponzi scheme.
  • (If we look at the NASA photograph of the background microwave radiation, does it not look like a map - a map of structures of distant galactic clusters?)
  • Keep observing farther and farther away: 20 billion light-years, 200 billion light-years, or 200 trillion light-years; there will always be objects to be seen and all flying away with ever increasing speeds.  Moreover, space curvature is much more pronounced.  No fudge factors are required to explain this.
